UNDERSTANDING the RELATIONSHIP between AUTISM and MENTAL HEALTH is crucial for providing effective support and improving overall well-being.While ASD itself is not a mental health disorder, individuals with autism often experience mental health issues at higher rates than the general population (ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, ADHD, OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER.)To IMPROVE BOTH AUTISM and MENTAL HEALTH OUTCOMES, the Rotary Clubs of The Bahamas Mental Wellness Committee donated funds raised from their ribbon campaign to financially assist the R.E.A.C.H Organization with their EARLY INTERVENTION, SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING and EDUCATIONAL programs. It is our committee’s mission to provide support for all organizations that impact mental health and wellness throughout The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.#MentalHealthMatters2RotaryBahamas #RCOBMentalHealthAwareness#MentalHealthMatters2District7020 #BreakTheStigma #AutismSpectrumDisorder #AutismAwarenessMonth #AutismSupport #autismadvocate ...
